ONNDA LIGHT

 Onnda Light is the result of Catrinel‘s interest in shaping light using optical material properties. The luminaires are composed of a Neon Led tube placed behind sheets of specially coated optical plexiglass. The light’s journey through the material is marked by unexpected hues of colors and transparencies.
Some of the luminaires’ shapes resemble totems, whilst the light, diffused, and subtle,  creates a state of tranquility. The lamps are brought to life by the viewer, who by turning them on unravels a harmonious, yet surprising play of light, color, and opacity. The luminaires are smart and can be controlled via app or remote. They have a dimming function, as well as color-changing (Aurora lamps and Noosphere table version) which also influences the lightscape. This function enables the user to use the lamp as ambient light or a decorative lamp.

AURORA LAMP

A luminaire that seems alive and is inspired by the fascinating play of the Northern lights.
Aurora displays a dynamic pattern of brilliant lights, an ever-changing dazzling light and color spectacle. The intensity and shades are changed using the RGB fixture, however, the unique light effects are obtained using o special  Plexiglas coating.
 
Through our Smart and user-friendly app, you can become the designer of your own light show: The lamp can be controlled by remote or by an app, as well Alexa Google home assistant, and Siri. The luminaire has a complete RGB spectrum, and predefined color-changing programs, thus enabling you to design your own color and intensity program to suit your mood.
 The smart option allows you to sync the color with weather changes.
The Tuya Smart app is very versatile and adapts to different needs and atmospheres, from party light, by syncing the color effects with your favorite music to a subtle and soothing night lamp or an accent lighting fixture.
Each piece is entirely produced, hand-finished, and assembled with care in-house in our Studio based in Transylvania.
Aurora comes in two options: glossy and mat.
Colors may vary slightly depending on the environmental light and wall color.

EVENT HORIZON

The luminaire aims to bring moments of wonder, similar to what we feel when we gaze at the night sky. The lamp takes us onto a journey further away, into the unknown cosmos.
Event horizon, part of ONNDA COLLECTION is inspired by the cosmic term ‘event horizon’:  the boundary defining the region of space around a black hole from which nothing (not even light) can escape.
We found this notion fascinating and decided to create a lamp that brings the cosmos closer and pays homage to the Great unknown.
Since the light source emits only white light, all the colorful shades are a result of optical phenomena such as birefringence, refraction, and reflection,  the result of our Studio’s commitment to material innovation.
 
 The lamp is dimmable (10%-100%)  and has three interchangeable light temperatures ( 3200 K-5500 K )  which can be controlled via an integrated cable switch.
 
Each piece is entirely produced, hand-finished, and assembled with care in-house in our Studio based in Transylvania.
 

TOTEM

The minimalist  luminaires shape resembles a totem, whilst the light, diffused and subtle creates a state of tranquility

NOOSPHERE

Noosphere is a luminaire that plays with our perception. The term “noosphere”,  referring to “ the sphere of human consciousness and mental activity  “ hints at the illusion created by design. The lamp brings to life a sphere shape using holographic technology. 
The lamp’s central element changes shape as the viewer moves around the piece. The light is seen reflected in a dazzling, yet subtle array of curved shapes.  The luminaire also casts a radiant glow on the wall. Due to its translucent nature depending on the wall color the light colors and material’s color may vary.
Each piece is entirely produced, hand-finished, and assembled with care in-house in our Studio based in Transylvania.
Noosphere comes in three options: wall-nude, wall-yellow and table version.
Colors may vary slightly depending on the environmental light and wall color.
